Getting past simplistic views

I am at a point in my career where there is only 1 option left. Its that i change to something i like, in other words, something that i would want to live with for the rest of my life. And like all wants, there is always a hurdle to get past, except this one is not easy to visualise, it is a abstract thing.

I would term it 'SOCIAL BOUNDARIES', a collective form of thinking set out to be 'the most righteous path to life' by a group of people. Now, the thing about this is that it varies from region to region but persists almost everywhere in the world.

I am going to tell you a fictional story, if you still aren't a kid(that's not literal), you will understand what i mean.

I would like to tell you a story, this about two separate people-SOCIALBOUNDARIES and ME.Now, they were two very different beings, one sourced his power from thoughts raining out of different minds and wrote all of these down in the 'Book of Gods', the latter sourced power from within himself.Put it simple, everything which SOCIALBOUNDARIES did was pre-programmed from the 'Book of Gods', and ME was a self-thinking person making things up on the go.

Now, obviously 'SOCIALBOUNDARIES' grew jealous of this, he would have liked to generate power of his own too but knew very well this was not feasible, like never! So, he decided to put an end to ME once and for all, ME would not serve as a good example to future generations.ME knew about this all along, but decided to play along till the situation got critical.

SOCIALBOUNDARIES thinks such retaliation was not written in the book of GODS, so ME could not function like this!ME knew better, he knew that the keys to the book was all that mattered. So, ME broke in to the house lodging the book and played around with the number combination because he was sane enough to have a broader scope of thought and researched 'LOCK PICKING FOR DUMMIES' the day before, got out the book and got to work. Now, ME thought that this would change everything the next day, the way SOCIALBOUNDARIES talked,wrote and even thought! ME waited for the next morning and being unable to sleep solved some math problems like always!

And a very strange thing happened the next day, Nothing changed! SOCIALBOUNDARIES was still as jealous as ever and still thought non-singularly.

"How could this have happened?", shouted ME! ''I changed the code in the book, they should have changed!But why still the same?''. ME started to understand after a little self-introspection, SOCIALBOUNDARIES had the code so ingrained in his mind for centuries that even changing the 'Book of Gods' was not going to deter them. ME finally decided that he had enough of this non-sense and fled to make a future of his own.

I think you got the whole point, group thought can be good but also the worst thing possible for an individual aspiring to do something out of the ordinary.
